From its modern ServerPark datacenter, SnackHost provides its wide global backbone network via the parent company and is connected to several TIER I class networks in Europe and the USA. Capacity of the SnackHost backbone network is 240Gbps. SnackHost uses top-class Cisco and Juniper network components and is a member of several peering centers, including the biggest peering center in the world – DE-CIX. Maintaining a top-class backbone data network is our first priority.
VSHosting owns all the optical routes (HDPE protection pipes) run from the building. Which means the datacenter is resistant to up to 3 routes being cut at the same time.
We do not limit data streams - no matter whether in the Czech Republic or abroad. Data limits belong to the past.
To speed up connectivity, VSHosting is one of just a few companies to be a member of multiple prominent European peering centers. We are a member of NIX.CZ, SIX.SK and the biggest peering center in the world DE-CIX in Frankfurt. Currently, we are planning to get connected to the second biggest peering center in the world, AMS-IX in Amsterdam.
Global IP connectivity is only provided by TIER 1 operators. Operators include Telia, Deutsche Telekom, Cogent and others.
The data network capacity is 240Gbps, but with WDM technology it can be multiplied anytime. We use hardware ready for 100Gbps ports.
ServerPark complies with the TIER IV standard and has a capacity of up to 8,000 servers. The Czech Republic was selected for its high political and economic stability in the European Union, and for the low hazard of earthquakes and similar disasters.
